About Lucy

Child & Young Person Counsellor

Lucy is a child and young person counsellor, working with children, adolescents and young adults up to the age of 25. She offers a safe, confidential and supportive space where young people can explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences at their own pace.

She works in a child-centred and creative way, understanding that many children and young people find it difficult to express themselves through words alone. She uses creative counselling approaches to help young people communicate emotions, manage anxiety and build emotional understanding.

Lucy has a strong personal and professional interest in supporting children and young people with additional needs, including neurodiversity and SEND. This is informed by both professional experience and her personal life, as she is a parent to a child with a disability. She works with empathy, patience and flexibility, helping young people feel heard, understood and supported.
